First off i believe that the price for kindle is deffiantly way too high and i dont think anyone would buy one for the price its at. The price is 359 dollars, for that price i would think people would rather go buy a book to read or even just go find the book online with google to read. Why would people buy a 359 dollar device to download and read books, now a days no on that i know even reads books often enough to even want to spend that much on a device to read. Plus it says that there are programs just like this on ipod touches, i would think that people would rather pay less for an ipod touch and get there music, internet, games and photos all in one plus a program just like kindle to download books. Kindle could reveloutionize education by having 230,000 books readily available by touch to read in 60 seconds. It would also help kids by being able to download their textbooks on this so that all they need throughout their whole school carrer is the kindle. The prime audience for kindle is mostly people who love to read and want to be able to access all their favorite books in 60 seconds without having to jump in a car and go buy it. Other buyers would include maybe teachers or schools, or even literary scholers. The advantages that Kindle has over its competitors has is that Kindle is dedicated to just reading books and you dont have to worry about your battery life while reading a book like on an ipod touch. Other advantages are things like a sharper image on the screen so you dont strain your eyes while reading and the obvious advantage of 230,000 newer best seller books readily available at the touch of a finger in 60 seconds. The only reason that i would purchase a kindle is maybe for a gift otherwise i dont read that much at all so i would rather buy a book and have it to keep so just incase the kindle would break i would still have a physical object in place to read that i would know couldnt break. What would keep me away from buying the kindle is first the biggest reason is the very high price and the fact that i absolutley don't need it and i could find better things to spend 359 dollars on.
